Terms of Service

Welcome to Coopek. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website coopek.am and its content, including the savings calculator, lessons, and the free 7-day email course (together, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Who we are

Coopek ("Coopek," "we," "us") is a registered educational company:

2. What Coopek is — and what it is not

Coopek teaches money-saving habits and personal finance basics through short lessons, practical exercises, and interactive tools.

Coopek is not a bank or a financial institution. We do not accept deposits, hold or transfer money, issue loans, or provide any banking, payment, insurance, or investment services. We are not licensed or supervised by the Central Bank of Armenia or any financial regulator, and we do not need to be, because we provide education only.

Nothing on the Service is financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. All content — lessons, emails, examples, calculator results, FAQ answers — is general educational information. It does not take your personal circumstances into account and is not a recommendation to buy, sell, deposit, borrow, or take any other financial action. Before making financial decisions, consider consulting a qualified, licensed professional.

We never ask for money credentials. Coopek will never ask you for your bank card number, account credentials, PIN codes, or one-time passwords, and will never ask you to transfer money to us or anyone else. If someone does so in Coopek's name, it is fraud — please report it to us.

3. The savings calculator

The calculator on our homepage is an educational illustration. Its projections are simplified mathematical models based on the numbers and assumptions you enter. They are not a guaranteed return, a forecast, an offer, or a promise of any outcome. Real-world results depend on actual interest rates, taxes, inflation, fees, and your own behavior, none of which the calculator can predict. You use the calculator and rely on its output at your own risk.

4. The free email course and other content

The 7-day email course is free. By submitting the sign-up form you ask us to send you the course by email; you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email. Our handling of your name and email address is described in our Privacy Policy.

We may in the future offer paid courses or materials. Any paid offering will have its own clearly stated terms and prices before you commit to anything. The fundamentals — the calculator and the basic course — are intended to remain free.

5. Acceptable use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes. You must not:

  • copy, scrape, republish, or resell the Service or its content, except as allowed in Section 6;
  • interfere with the operation or security of the Service, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to it;
  • submit false information or sign up other people's email addresses without their consent;
  • use the Service to send spam or for any fraudulent or unlawful activity;
  • misrepresent Coopek, or suggest that Coopek endorses you or your products, without our written permission.

We may suspend or block access to the Service for anyone who violates these Terms.

6. Intellectual property

The Service and all its content — text, lessons, emails, design, graphics, logo, calculator, and code — are owned by Coopek or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

You may view the Service and share links to it, and you may use the lessons for your own personal learning. You may quote short excerpts with clear attribution to Coopek and a link to coopek.am. Any other reproduction, distribution, modification, or commercial use requires our prior written permission.

7. Testimonials and third-party links

Testimonials on the site reflect the individual experiences of the people quoted. They are not a guarantee that you will achieve similar results — saving outcomes depend on your own income, expenses, and habits.

The Service may link to third-party websites and social media platforms (for example, Instagram or LinkedIn). We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, terms, or privacy practices.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we make no warranties of any kind — express or implied — about the Service, including its accuracy, completeness, reliability, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose. Personal finance content can become outdated as laws, rates, and products change; we do not guarantee that any piece of content is current or applicable to your situation.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by the laws of the Republic of Armenia:

  • Coopek is not liable for any financial decisions you make or fail to make, or for any losses, missed savings, fees, taxes, or other outcomes resulting from your use of — or reliance on — the Service or its content;
  • Coopek is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, savings, or data;
  • Coopek's total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim arose (which, for the free Service, is zero).

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

10. Changes to the Service and these Terms

We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We may also update these Terms; the "Last updated" date at the top shows the current version. Material changes will be posted on this page, and continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree with the changes, stop using the Service and unsubscribe from our emails.

11. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Armenia. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved by the competent courts of the Republic of Armenia, unless mandatory consumer protection rules in your country of residence provide otherwise. We encourage you to contact us first — most issues can be resolved informally.

12. Miscellaneous

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and Coopek regarding the Service.

These Terms are published in Armenian and English for your convenience. In case of any discrepancy between the versions, the English version prevails.
